Kaiyo The Peated Mizunara Oak Japanese Whisky - Kaiyo Whisky “The Peated” is aged initially for two years in ex-Madeira barrels to impart a sweetness to balance the level of peat. It is then transferred to Mizunara Oak, where it will continue to mature for the rest of its days. All of our whiskies are made from malted barley, un-chillfiltered, and enjoy a three-month ocean maturation that helps bring out the unique flavors that can only be obtained from Mizunara Oak.
